Please join us at the British Library, on Euston Road, London on a Map Ramble starting at 10.00am on Saturday 3 March 2007. Join us on a voyage of discovery.
We’ve mapped an itinerary for the Ramble that we hope will entice you to join us:
10.00am Visit the exhibition London: A Life in maps in the basement of the British Library.
At the exhibition, mingle with fellow ramblers (you can identify them as they will be wearing a badge similar to the one that you will receive when you register), share thoughts, ideas and reactions to the maps.
11.30am join fellow Map Ramblers for a break at the First floor café.
12 Noon, choose a themed Map guide, collect a sketch book, and set out in small groups, on a Ramble around the local streets, to collect your ideas.
1.30pm convene at a local hostelry, for a chance to share your discoveries with fellow Map Ramblers.
Afterwards, contribute your findings (sketches, photographs or recordings - please note we don’t provide equipment) here at the Map Ramble web log.
Email: Map Rambles to register.
